Apex Foundation

Founded by Roger Dherlin, the Apex foundation has been created to develop different non-profit ecological projects in Costa Rica such as reforestation of essential endemic tree and plant species, preservation, reintroduction and reproduction of clean “creoles” seeds, educative ecological projects with local schools and universities, support through our expertise in the marine industry of international and local NGO for the protection of marine life…

Reforestation

We planted many thousands of native trees to reforest entire hills from the municipality of Athenas, Costa Rica. These various endemic species of trees help to ensure a natural ecosystem balance in small town reported to have one of the best climates in the world, with year-round temperatures remaining at a mild mid-21 degrees Celsius.

Our focus was made on planting Gandul so called “pigeon pea” trees as it is drought-resistant and a very good protein nutritious alternative crop with an average of 4 harvest a year with no chemicals whatsoever. With its numerous flowering per year, it has the best nectar essential for the pollinators helping the entire ecosystem equilibrium of the valley.

NGO

Apex Boats wants to be part of the change 🌀

That’s why we decided to sponsor an ONG organization dedicated to protect life on Earth: Fins Attached, Marine research and conservation.

Fins Attached is an organization that study and preserve the marine ecosystem. They also seek to raise awareness and teach about its marine conservation. Nowadays, a school of sharks is getting more and more rare because they are critically endangered, that’s why these studies are essential to protect the different species.

Undersea hunter

The Undersea Hunter Group has been an unshakable advocate of environmental protection from our very beginnings. As the world has become more conscious of the importance of sustainability, Costa Rica has remained on the forefront, raising the bar and opening more and more specialized facilities. By participating, educating and often pioneering, our efforts have also continued to evolve.
